FAQs:

WHAT IS RECRUITMENT?

Recruitment is a series of social, professional and community service events open to all students who have interest in joining our organization.  Our events give recruits a chance to meet brothers, learn about our organization and improve personal and professional skills.

ARE ALL RECRUITMENT EVENTS REQUIRED?

We understand students have busy schedules therefore we only require recruits to attend a minimum of 5 events. However, it is highly encouraged for potential new members to attend all recruitment events. Please note that our last event, Speed Interviews, is invite only.

WHAT IS A BID?

An invitation given to a prospective member inviting them to join the fraternity via a pledge education process.

IF I DON'T GET A BID CAN I GO THROUGH RECRUITMENT AGAIN?

Yes, and we encourage it! We have plenty of brothers who were not offered a bid during their first recruitment. Sometimes individuals learn from the process and are able to better prepare for the next round of recruitment.

WHAT IS A PLEDGE?

A student can become a pledge once they receive a bid to join our chapter of Delta Sigma Pi and accept the bid in the formal Pledging Ceremony.  This ceremony and the acceptance of the bid is the start of the 5-week pledging process.
